long time ago...

I was not blogg'ing for quite a long time. I made a lot of things, both knitted and sewed, but I did not have time to describe what have I done. I have finished knitting a merino all in one overall in a la hello kitty colours, as lady in yarn store said :-), must come to ravery one day. Also made a couple of hats for me one in dark blue and another one in light pink. I made a vest for me and one more for my daughter after Lene Holme Samsøe recipe. I have also crotchet 3 of chains for baby soothers. I think that was it, if not counting the reparations and some of overalls, my daughter already grown from. Now I am knitting a sweater with bobbles on and some lace.

I was trying to force the time and by now to make even more things. But I think the things goes very slow. My cardigan in grey big merino wool is almost finished. But otherwise it was only the painting in the basement and not much else. I think the time goes a little bit too fast or I am a little bit too slow. Anyway, I really hope, that I will improve one day. With time.

Hæklet slange Søren / crotched snake Soeren

I was inspired by one of the mothers in the mother group about the snake she has crotched for her children and I wanted to make the same for my daughter. especially because another day we found one real "snake" on the way to our basement. I was extremely scarred there. Even it was not dangerous and a baby snake only.
My daughter was very excited to play with it so now she also has her own one. Even she doesn't know about it as she is still sleeping :-) But i hope she will be happy about it.
Today, 01 of November it was a first day for her in the children garden. she was very happy to be there, though I was stressed a lot, as most probably all other mothers, when delivering their children to the care when they are so small still. Rosabel is only 8 months. Nevertheless I am happy that she was very happy to be there. I hope it will be like this always.

I have bought for me Knit Pro!

I was thinking and thinking and decided that i need this fantastic set of KnitPro, even I have a lot of knit needles in aluminium, and I like them a lot. But i think my knit is a little bit unequal what i hope Knit Pro will correct. I am still working on my stripes. It is a cardigan made in black background and different colour stripes. Need only to finish the arms and then it is done. I really hope to be done with it by weekend. and the next project of mine will be with KnitPro.

Baby jumpsuit velor

One more warm and sweet piece of clothing I have recently been working on and it is a jumpsuit. I am very happy for it, and i hope that my baby is happy for it as well :-)

Djævlens babyhue (Devil baby hat) x 2

 So it is a couple of new Devil baby hat, sometimes called nordic design hat ready for use. Both are knitted after this recipe and size is 9-12 months. For the white one it is used garn AlpacaSilk from garn studio and red pink is made of 100 cotton.

What did i did today?

Finally I have finished my baby feet frames. One of them (to the left) is from 6 months and another is from 1 month old feet. Looks so sweet... and it is something to remember forever, as these will never be so small again.
By the way we were also trying to make a hand print. hihihi, it sounds good, but she simply grasps and try to take the filling out. So it is not possible. we will have to wait until she is bigger.

I have made this one and the same just a little bit bigger with no lining. Jersey inside and velour outside. very nice and warm. I wish i could go with something like this myself :-)

A refashion season- a slimfit dress instead of a bag fit :-)

Not much to say. Just added all what is in black. including a small pocket for a mobile or so.

Voksipose

Nu synes jeg at det er på tiden til at begynde at skrive på dansk, eller litauisk, der det er alligevel kun mig der læser min blog. Jeg er i gang at sy/opdatere lave, ved ikke hvad det skulle hede voksi påse til min lille engel på 3 måneder. Det er vildt irriterende at finde hende helt svedet, eller omvend med helt kold fingre om morgenen, eller efter en lur, der dyner passer aldrig til den vejr og meget nemt smutter væk.
Nu har jeg købt en brugt, men næsten ny voksipose sleebee, til 150 kr, en sommer dyn som skal laves til voksi dyn til en 50, sengetøj i satin bomuld til betrak til 200 kr og en fleece dyn til 19kr. mangler noget tilbehør og så det bliver rigtigt godt.

men det kommer til at tage lidt tid til at jeg starter med dette projekt, op til videre jeg bruger sleebee som den er :-) eller kommer til at bruge den, der det er kun i går samlet sammen igen, og nu sover hun i sin køredragt efter en tur til svømning. Men næste lur kommer til at foregå i voksi ;-)

Sewing again- baby pants and by the way it is easier than i thought.

My little project today in the afternoon, when my little sweet angel was sleeping was pants for her. Of course in white, of course very very sweet. Or what? I am very happy with the result.

One more smaller, but in colourful material.
I again got a chance to use both overlock and sewing machine. New thing is also to sew in jersey. And as it looks like it is also easier, than i thought. Just need to remember a correct needle, for otherwise it will be a lot of holes in the fabrics and not so nice result...

The pattern is from OCTOBRE magazine. Me like :)

Remember ASta

I should clearly remember to use stuff I have bought before buying something new! As I am already thinking about millions of new projects before even I have touched any of the old ones.

My sewing machine was a little bit sick, so I have cleaned it and oiled and now it is sewing as a dream. So no matter what it is time to use what i have and try it again and again. 

Sewing machine has got some additional accessories, what are going help me a lot. One of them is a slim feet for sewing zipper, but not only it. i will see what I can use it for.

Pillow wall for a bed standing besides the wall :)

Even it is shown on the sofa, it is meant to be for the bed. And it is already there, I think it is really nice. Have seen somewhere in the blog a similar version of making mattress. Probably it could also be used fro this.

Baby things...

While excited mother and farther and the rest of the family is waiting for a little angel to come, and mother is getting less and less patient, a lot of nice baby things have been created:


Last year we have bought a sweet cradle, what had not bed linning, what was made by my to make sure, that baby will be able to sleep well. I imagine how easy it will be to transport this litle thing around in the house. Knitted blanket in the cradle is completely finished already long time ago, but somehow no pictures were made.
And today it was a baby sling made:


Baby sling is made by following these tutorials: tutorial 1 and tutorial 2. I am happy I have found a measure band in inches, as to transfer to cm was way too complicated.
I just have to mention that the overlock makes my sewing much easier and it looks much more professional made. I am extremely glad, when it looks so well.
Now we feel ready :-)
